International Mental Health Day Online Presentaion

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people’s mental health. Some groups, including health and other frontline workers, students, people living alone, and those with pre-existing mental health conditions, have been particularly affected. Services for mental, neurological and substance use disorders have been significantly disrupted.
World Mental Health Day is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries
As part of the International Mental Health Day, Alliance Francaise de Kandy is organizing an online Presentation on How Covid impacted your mental health ? by Ms.Rushma Mohammed.
Rushma is a clinical psychologist who runs a mental health clinic in Kandy, J.O.I.N. Health. Her mental health journey started in 2008, it spanned from Malaysia to Singapore, Thailand, Oman and continues in Sri Lanka now. The work Rushma does involves counseling, psychotherapy, career, and educational assessments.
